One-Arm Boat
Description: We swim with freestyle kicks. One arm rests on the board, the other arm stays relaxed along the body. Breathing is done to the free side.
Technical Goal: Side breathing and stable body position.
Coach’s Message: “Look where you are going!”
Game: The boat looks to the side to see the way.
Execution:
- One arm stays on the board.
- Legs work continuously.
- Breathing is calm to the free side.
- If needed, practice first while staying in place.
Progression: Switch the arm on the board.
Observe:
- Whole head turns → “Only the cheek comes out!”
- Legs stop → “The motor is always running!”
