Two Strokes – One Rhythm

Description: Children swim using freestyle kicks. Each arm performs two strokes before switching.

Technical Goal: Rhythm between arm movement and breathing.

Coach’s Message: “Count with me: one, two – switch!”

Game: Swimming while counting out loud.

Execution:

  • Legs work continuously.
  • Each arm performs two strokes.
  • The coach helps by counting aloud.

Progression: Same exercise with calmer breathing.

Observe:

  • Rhythm is lost → count out loud
  • Legs sink → remind them about the motor
