Front Glide
Description: Children lie on their stomachs. Arms are stretched forward and the body glides over the water.
Technical Goal: Correct body position and water feel.
Coach’s Message: “Glide like on ice!”
Game: Who makes the smallest waves?
Execution:
- Arms move lightly.
- Legs are relaxed or perform light freestyle kicks.
- Head is in the water, eyes looking at the bottom.
Progression: Glide longer without using the legs.
Observe:
- Head lifts up → “Look at the bottom!”
- Back is bent → make the body long
